How StruXure Created Outdoor Living Magic

Somfy was excited to see a recent article in Home Business Mag featuring Scott Selzer, the CEO of StruXure Outdoor. The article covered how Selzer went from a middle school teacher to the CEO of StruXure Outdoor, a company that’s made the Inc. Magazine list of 5000 fastest-growing companies five years in a row. 

When Selzer was working as a teacher he would use his summers off to work at his home improvement construction business, School’s Out Construction. While working with a client on an outdoor space, Selzer discovered that the type of pergola his client was looking for just didn’t exist. So obviously, Selzer went to work creating that pergola and soon discovered his pivoting louvered cover was needed in the outdoor market.
