Power over Ethernet (PoE) distributes network signals and electrical power to transmit communication over standard low-voltage category cabling to various endpoints, including shades, draperies, LED lighting, HVAC controls, cameras, and other networked devices in new or existing projects.
With PoE, installation is seamless due to a networking feature that allows network cables to carry electrical DC power and IP data connectivity over an existing data connection with a single Cat-5e/Cat-6 ethernet cable. This means increased safety and no need for an electrician.
