Somfy is excited to announce our Happify Your Home™ series of commercials are now award-winning! We’re honored to accept the Best Consumer Advertising Campaign award from the Window Covering Manufacturer’s Association (WCMA) for our commercials featuring some seriously smart pets. Somfy’s Happify Your Home commercials show off the benefits of motorization in a fun way by following the antics of a dog and cat as they navigate their home (and backyard) with ease thanks to the power of Somfy. Whether it’s maintaining privacy during a luxurious bubble bath or beating the heat while spending time outdoors, these pets know that Somfy motorization is the easiest way to enjoy comfort, convenience and energy savings at home. Each commercial focuses on a different benefit of motorization, including energy savings, privacy, sun control and convenience. Plus our intrepid pets aren’t just smart, they’re also tech-savvy! They show off how easy it is to use Somfy’s myLink™ app, available for smartphones and tablets, to control Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) motorized products. With the myLink app, users can also create scenes and set schedules so your window coverings operate automatically. This can be a great benefit if you’re going on vacation and want your home to look lived-in or just want to wake up every morning to the rising sun instead of a blaring alarm clock. The WCMA awards are given out annually at the International Window Covering Expo to recognize excellence and achievement in the window covering industry. All entries are evaluated by a panel of judges and judged on merits such as innovation, quality, and impact.
