Somfy Introduces the Rechargeable Sonesse® 30 WireFree (Li-ion) RTS Motor

Somfy is excited to introduce the latest motor in our quiet and powerful Sonesse® motor range, the Sonesse® 30 WireFree (Li-ion) RTS. This new motor uses a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery to minimize maintenance and eliminate the need to install and replace batteries.

The Sonesse 30 WireFree (Li-ion) RTS is suitable for multiple applications, including roller/solar, Roman/woven and sheer shades, as well as horizontal blinds. As a rechargeable solution, the Sonesse 30 WireFree minimizes maintenance and simplifies installation. A powerful lifting capacity means the flexibility to motorize a wide variety of shades and blinds, all without wires. 

This new motor is already award-winning, having picked up a CE Pro BEST Award from CEDIA Expo 2017! CE Pro judges all BEST Award entries on criteria such as innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits to the installer. Somfy was honored our new wirefree, rechargeable motor was recognized! 

As an added bonus, now that the myLink™ works with Amazon Alexa you can use voice commands to control this new wirefree motor. Enjoy the privacy, convenience, and energy saving benefits that motorized window coverings provide with a simple, natural language phrase. “Alexa, tell myLink to open bedroom shades,” will give you all the light you need in the morning without even reaching over to grab a remote.
