Somfy is excited to share our new Somfy Digital Network™ (SDN) components for enhanced drapery motorization. These solutions make it even simpler to add Somfy-powered motorization to projects of every size. 

Introducing the SDN Module for Glydea® ULTRA!

Discover Somfy’s first bi-directional drapery solution! The Somfy Digital Network™ (SDN) Module for Glydea® ULTRA (Part #1870275) integrates Somfy's range of Glydea® ULTRA motors into SDN systems. The SDN module receives SDN network communication signals and converts them to motor control commands for operating Somfy's Glydea® ULTRA motors. 

New Features Include: 

• Bi-directional communication between the motor and SDN controls
• The module is a plug-in design and receives power directly from the Glydea® ULTRA motor
• Offers control commands for open, close, stop, and up to 16 intermediate positions
  • Requires configuration using the Somfy Motor Configuration Software
• Limit Setting Options:
  • Dry Contact (DCT): Dry Contact Limit Setting Tool 9014599
  • Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS): RTS Controls
  • Somfy Digital Network™ (SDN): 
    • Hand-held RS485 Motor Limit Setting (Rev. C – Software Version: 5102155A10 )
    • USB to RS485 Adaptor for SDN 9015260 & Somfy Motor Configuration Software

Enclosure Kit Solution for SDN Control of Irismo™ 35 Motors

Now offering a new enclosure kit solution to Irismo™ 35 Control modules. (Part#1870282) The SDN Drapery module for Irismo™ 35 (Part #1811129) is recently updated. The module is now programmed with a unique node ID and includes node ID labels.

What is Somfy Digital Network™ (SDN)? 

Somfy Digital Network™ (SDN) is Somfy’s intelligent wired shading network. An SDN system is comprised of bus distribution devices that create a network for user interfaces, motorized applications, and sensors to be connected. SDN is scalable and suitable for both small and large projects, and the same components are used whether an SDN system remains standalone, integrated into third-party automation systems.
