IFTTT is a powerful tool for connecting the smart products and services you love. For instance, you can use IFTTT to connect your myLink to other smart products in your home, including Google Assistant! The recently announced IFTTT Pro allows for multi-step Applets, faster execution, multiple actions and more. Some recent changes to the IFTTT service might impact users utilizing IFTTT with myLink to create DIY, custom applets. Here’s what you need to know: How do I know if this update applies to me? If you have a free version of IFTTT, you will now be allowed 3 custom Applets. If you have more than 3 custom Applets you’ll need to either upgrade to IFTTT Pro or choose the 3 Applets you’d like to keep. What is a custom or DIY Applet? A custom Applet is one that you create yourself in IFTTT using your own triggers and actions. This recent IFTTT change means that free users of the service are now allowed three custom Applets. Unlimited pre-configured Applets While only three custom Applets are now supported on IFTTT’s free plan, users can still utilize an unlimited amount of pre-configured Applets available through IFTTT.
